This song from 1984 is about war and destruction! In my opinion it´s the best German Rock Song ever! Unfortunatly the last years were marked by war and expulsion. The song talks about hate and and greed and how people kill each other and destroy our planet. "Das Buch" - The book talks about the destruction of our blue planet! Let us hope it is never going to be written!

und vielleicht, wenn auf der Welt der Hass und die Gier so groß werden,
dass nichts, aber auch nichts mehr sie retten kann, dann vielleicht
gibt es dort auch ein Buch, das heißt: Der Untergang der Erde.
Es wird über uns berichten, über unser Leben, über unsern Tod
und über Feuer, das so groß war, dass keine Tränen es löschen konnten
bis hin zur letzten Sekunde,
